I just read that Hogan Sheffer was hired as co-head writer on young and restless. i am a bit upset since deep inside i was hoping he'd go back to ATWT. i totally loved atwt when hogan was on. he wrote that show like a storybook. i love how he intertwined the characters. he gave the show great storylines and i saw how the show changed after he left. i am hopgin he imporves Y&R because, frankly, it's a bit boring lately. I am more of a dedicated ATWT fan, but have been watching Y&R more regularly lately. i wish him luck on it, but im still hopgin he moves back to NYC

i'm prejudice when it comes to the emmies and the soaps i watch. religiously, i'm an as the world turns fan. once in a while i'll catch the other cbs soaps except guiding light (never got into it). this year the nominees seem boring to me. the same faces all the time. my one major omission is that of jon hensley. he was so good last year, i find it hard to believe the emmy people don't look at an actor's work year round. this guy is so subtle in his performances. To me, he just seems natural, not like he's doing Shakespeare like most of the other nominees. though his storyline wasn't major. he was quite the supporter throughout the year. husband, father,cousin, friend. he got on your nerves here and there, but that is who Holden is. my other gripe is katherine kelley lang on bold and the beautiful. although i hate brooke, i think this woman does an awesome job. i cant tell if brooke is actually a bitch or she actually is sincere. now that's good acting. thats it for now. im tired..

  ive been on soapcentral for a few months now, if not a year or so. i can't recall.. i'm an avid atwt fan.. have been one since about 1988 or 89. Ive been through thick and thin. i'v seen it at its best ( doug marland,hogan sheffer) and its worst (zoe,sarah,ameera, and the current writer [yuk]). from time to time i'll post my thoughts and opinions,not just of the show but of other ones as well..and maye some rants and raves on other non-soap topics..  i'll try not to get too political either..so for now, i hope to chat and correspond with atwt fans and others.. id love to get a group together to make up our own storylines. i do that on occassion annd have come up with a few that would make JP cringe that i might take away her job as head writer. LOL!!
